Welding electrodes E7016
Which has a coating with low-content hydrogen and sodium. It has excellent plasticity, tenacity and anti-cracking ability in low tempreture, good arc stiffness, nearly no magnetic blow. Therefore, it can offer good minor parts in welding with very few splash and easy deslagging and stable ecectric arc.
Application of welding electrodes E7016
It is widely used for welding materials for carbon steel and low alloy steel, like 16Mn, and welding grade A, B, D, E steel for shipyard primairy conponents, boiler, pressure vessels, pipelines and other important steel structure components.
Note:
Before welding, it is necessary to clean the work piece and remove the impurities such as oil, grease rust and moisture, bake the electrode at the temperature of about 350 degree centigrade for one hour. The welding must be carried out under short arc and is suitable for narrow path.
When used DC, the electrode must be connected with positive polarity.
